Massage FAQs
Questions before your appointment? Here are a few things to know before you book.
Swedish massage can be customized with firm pressure, but its primary focus is relaxation, using flowing techniques to ease everyday tension. Deep Tissue Massage focuses more specifically on therapeutic muscle work, using deeper, targeted techniques to address areas of knots and persistent muscle tension.
We do not have a sauna, but we do have a quiet room in our spa area that you are welcome to use before or after your massage. Take a few extra minutes to relax and ease into or out of your treatment.
First, congratulations! We recommend waiting until you have entered your second trimester before booking a Pregnancy Massage. We offer a pillow designed specifically for pregnancy massage that allows you to comfortably lie on your stomach, or we can use large pillows to support you while you lie on your side.
